Occupational Safety and Health / Industrial Hygiene Scholarship

Montana State Fund is committed to the safety of Montana’s workforce. This scholarship is for Industrial Hygiene (IH) or Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) students who demonstrate a desire to champion safety in their chosen fields.

Award:

$4,000 is awarded for the cost of attendance (i.e. tuition, board etc.). Recipients will receive the scholarship in two equal payments: One at the start of the 2022 Spring Semester and the second at the start of the Fall 2022 semester. Students who graduate or fall below full-time before the disbursement are not eligible to receive the award.

Deadline:

The scholarship application window opens on Friday, October 1st and closes at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 12.

Application Requirements:
  • Complete a JotForm application, review assigned video(s) and answer required essay question(s).
  • Submit one professional recommendation questionnaire via JotForm link.
  • Submit one instructor or professor recommendation questionnaire via JotForm link.

Successful applicants are also required to submit a brief bio and photo prior to January 2022.

Eligibility:

Students enrolled full-time in good standing at an approved program.
