What is our employment selection process?

Required materials and applications. The selection process we use to evaluate an applicant’s qualifications will include a Montana State Fund Employment Application Form, an on-site and/or telephone interview, and reference checks. Required materials include:

  • Montana State Fund Employment Application Form . MS Word or PDF (Do not confuse this with the State of Montana Application Form.)  Be sure to explain any gaps in employment.
  • All statements provided in your application must be true and complete. Any false statement or misrepresentation may be cause for refusal to hire or for employment termination. A background check will be conducted on the final candidates.
  • Applicants who submit incomplete application forms or who submit the form with the comment “see resume” in response to any of the fields will not be further considered.

Disabled Employment Preference. Applicants claiming Disabled Employment Preference must provide verification of eligibility with the application materials.
